Sandy Davis has authored and self-published three instructional manuals on how to develop and sustain your own personal resilience.  All three are available only directly from ResilienceWorks, and are available in three different formats:  (1) a PDF version delivered as an e-book via download or e-mail;  (2) a PDF version on a compact disc (CD) delivered domestically by First Class mail; and (2) a printed version (spiral-bound 8.5”x11”) delivered domestically via Priority Mail.

SHIPPING & HANDLING FEES:

E-Books:  There are no shipping and handling fees associated with online delivery of e-books.
 
PDFs on CDs:  For copies of the above manuals on compact disc, a charge of $7.00 is included for burning one CD and mailing it domestically via First Class mail.  (PDF files of all three of the above manuals fit easily onto a single CD.)

Printed Copies:  For printed copies, a small production charge has been built into each price.  (The production charge is less than you would have to pay a local copy shop to print and bind a copy for you.)  For domestic Shipping & Handling, the fee is $10.00 for one printed copy of any manual, and $15.00 for up to six printed copies (in any combination).  Domestic delivery of printed copies is normally done via Priority Mail.

International Shipments:  For CDs and printed copies shipped outside of the U.S., please call or e-mail to get the exact cost of shipping by the method of your choice:  U.S. Postal Service, Federal Express, or UPS.
 
Because (a) the cost of shipping internationally is high, (b) the associated paperwork and legwork is time consuming, and (c) the time it takes for international shipments to arrive can be drawn out by unpredictable delays at Customs, it is normally much more economical and pragmatic for buyers outside of the U.S. to purchase e-book versions of the manuals online instead of printed versions.
 
When you purchase e-book versions, you receive the PDF files immediately and, if you wish, you can then print out one copy of each manual that you purchase either on your own printer or at a local copy shop.  In other words, instead of paying ResilienceWorks both a production fee and shipping expenses, you can spare yourself those fees.  Even if you pay a local copy shop to print and bind one copy for you, you will almost always come out ahead financially.
 
 
SALES TAX:
 
Residents of Maine will be charged a 5% sales tax on physical products such as CDs and printed manuals.  (No sales tax is due on e-books or other digital products.)
 
 
LIMITED PERMISSION TO MAKE COPIES:
 
When you purchase the e-book version of any of the above instructional manuals, you have permission from the publisher, ResilienceWorks LLC, to print one physical copy of each manual for personal use only.
 
Producing more than one physical copy of any e-book you purchase from ResilienceWorks LLC constitutes a violation of the copyright, as does distributing copies to others (for sale or otherwise, either electronically or in printed versions).
